OVERVIEW: A custom, true Downeast “lobster yacht” constructed to very high yacht standards by Wilbur Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine. A beautifully balanced combination of the classic simplicity of a Maine lobster boat and carefully selected yacht quality hardware and equipment. The yacht is well suited for cruising with an efficient galley and private head with stall shower. Her large cockpit makes her well suited as a comfortable day boat for larger gatherings.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Headroom is 6’3” throughout. The interior is elegantly finished in white with a teak accent finish. The forward cabin sole is of teak and holly. Doors and drawers are expertly crafted in solid teak. Large amounts of light and ventilation are provided via a large fore deck Bomar hatch and six polished stainless Hood portholes. Starting forward, the chain locker is followed by a v-berth with filler, two drawers and two door storage is handily located below with shelves above. Next, aft to starboard, is a hanging locker with a bookshelf above. Next, aft to port, the galley features a Seaward three-burner propane range with oven and remote gas controller, Norcold 12V/110V refrigerator and stainless steel sink. Numerous lockers, drawers and shelves provide sufficient storage for extended getaways. To starboard, a lovely Force 10 heater is mounted on a chest of three shelves. The fully enclosed head features a separate stall shower with seat and a Wilcox Crittenden manual marine toilet and has storage rack and two door storage as well. Steps lead up to the helm area with a steering station to starboard. The companionway doors, hatch and instrument panel are of varnished teak. Windows in the salon are large and the forward centerline window opens plus two teak trimmed overhead flip-up roof windows coupled with the sliding entry door provides excellent ventilation. Access to the machinery space is via a large deck hatch and two smaller hatches. The uncluttered cockpit offers unusual versatility and space. Deck hatches provide access to the large lazarette storage area and steering compartment. Ample storage above deck is accomplished by two lockers, one house's dual propane tanks.

ELECTRONICS & NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENT: Icom VHF radio, Furuno 1715 radar w/closed array; Simrad AP26 autopilot; Nauman 5500 chartplotter; Raytheon Bi-Data ST40 speed and distance depthfinder, Ritchie compass. Sitting in one of the well cushioned custom teak captain’s chairs you will notice that Northstar plotting handles the electronic charting. Racor filter monitoring gauge is set into the helm console next to the Vetus bow thruster control. The boat-wide stereo music system has the head unit placed at the helm station. The weather monitoring is electronically repeated via a data screen to the lower left of the wheel.

ELECTRICAL: Complete 12-volt DC and 110 volt AC systems, 28D gel-cell AGM batteries, dockside electrical cables (30-amp), Charles Marine 5000 Series 20+ battery charger, courtesy lighting under washrails in cockpit, systems bonded to a large master zinc on transom, custom electrical panel, solar powered galley vent.

DECK HARDWARE & EQUIPMENT: Bright teak toe rails, rub rails, handrails and anchor platform. Anchor with 25’ of chain and 175’ 5/8 three-strand nylon rode. Lofrans Progress I 12v windlass, bowrail, all cleats, fairleads etc. are of stainless steel, opening center windshield, navigation lights, starboard window windshield wiper, white aluminum aft door, Shaft Shark spur cutters; lift raft with cradle.

MECHANICAL & PLUMBING: Caterpillar 3126TA in-line six cylinder diesel (appx. 300 hrs.), 420 hp (electronic fuel rack), Kobelt clutch and throttle controls, Caterpillar supplied electronic engine instrumentation, 2” stainless steel propeller shaft, five-blade propeller, bow thruster, Hynautic steering, twenty-gallon holding tank with Y-valve and discharge pump, pressurized freshwater system (Jabsco) with outlet in cockpit, saltwater washdown, two Rule automatic bilge pumps with control panel at helm, Seaward stainless steel heat exchanged/ 110-volt AC/hot water heater, Fireboy is central fire suppression control system in engine room, reverse oil change pump, Racor fuel filters.

REMARKS: This vessel is virtually brand new – due in part to the many enhancements that were completed recently. The owner has had a change of cruising plans.
