Outstanding example of classic Wilbur/Jarvis Newman, with extensive refit in 2010, nearly every system updated. Boat shows like new! Very economical downeast hull.

Downeast hull designs are known for their soft, dry ride. They ride at relatively flat angles at all speed ranges. Moreover, like many private airplanes, their single engine design cuts fuel and engine maintenance costs in half while providing a keel that gives great protection to the propeller and rudder. Downeast boats are often custom built boats and lend themselves to redesign to meet a new owner’s needs. Due to the nature of custom built boats they can cost more than a production boat but remember the bitterness of poor quality lasts long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. Get aboard today and “let the boat do the talking”.

Accommodations
Finished "Herreshoff Style" with white bulkheads and varnished teak trim, this galley down layout sleeps 4 people, 2 in the salon on inserted pull-outs and 2 in the large queen stateroom. The varnished teak and holly sole and all joiner work are to the highest standards set by Lee Wilbur. Reading lamps are found at both berths and the settee; dome style ovehead lamps are found throughout.
The hull is lined with teak ceilings over and there are lockers with shelves under. There is also a small hanging locker and three drawers.
