`Downeast hull designs are known for their soft, dry ride. They ride at relatively flat angles at all speed ranges. Moreover, like many private airplanes, their single engine design cuts fuel and maintenance costs in half while also providing a keel that gives the best protection to the propeller and rudder possible.

Three-wire has given her original owners many miles of safe low-cost cruising. Her rustic finished charm allows for minimal maintenance costs and easy access to systems. She offers big-time sea keeping in a “turn-key” boat that has all the necessities so if you value simplicity and “getting their” this boat is worth the look.
