OVERVIEW: A semi-custom true downeast “lobster yacht” constructed to very high yacht standards by Wilbur Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine. A beautifully balanced combination of the classic simplicity of a Maine lobster boat and carefully selected yacht quality hardware and equipment. The yacht is well suited for cruising with an efficient galley and private head with stall shower. With her unusually large cockpit, she is equally well suited as an immensely comfortable day boat for larger gatherings.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Headroom is 6’3” throughout. The interior is elegantly finished in teak with a satin finish. The cabin sole is of teak and holly. Doors and drawers are expertly crafted in solid teak. Copious amounts of light and ventilation are provided via a large fore deck Bomar hatch and six polished stainless Hood portholes. Starting forward, the chain locker is followed by a v-berth with filler, storage below and shelves above. Next aft to starboard is a hanging locker with a bookshelf above. Next aft to port, the galley features a Seaward three-burner propane range with oven and remote gas controller, Norcold 12V/110V refrigerator and stainless steel sink. Numerous lockers, drawers and shelves provide sufficient storage for extended getaways. To starboard, the fully enclosed head features a separate stall shower with seat and a Wilcox Critiden manual marine toilet. Steps (cabin heater in bottom step) lead up to the helm area with a steering station to starboard with Todd Ladder-Back Model 2000 helm and nav chairs w/cushion set. The companionway doors, hatch and instrument panel are of varnished teak. Windows in the full canvas enclosure can be rolled up to the hardtop or the panels can be removed all together. Teak decks are confined to enclosed helm area for ease of maintenance. Access to the machinery space is via a large deck hatch in this area. A ½ of step down, the uncluttered cockpit has 2 Garelick cushioned deck chairs along with 3 folding chairs and offers unusual versatility and space. Deck hatches provide access to the commodious lazarette and steering compartment.
