OVERVIEW: A semi-custom, true downeast “lobster yacht” constructed by Wilbur Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine. This vessel is a beautifully balanced combination of the classic simplicity of a Maine lobster boat and the high quality finishing that the Wilbur yard is known for. This coupled with carefully selected hardware and equipment make a yacht that is well suited for both day tripping and cruising with an efficient galley and private head. Her large cockpit makes her well suited as a comfortable day boat for larger gatherings. The rod holders around the cockpit and the rocket launchers on her overhead allow for some great fishing expeditions while the kayak racks give easy opportunity to explore the shallows and smaller inlets.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Headroom is 6’3” throughout. The interior is elegantly finished in white with a teak accent finish. The forward cabin sole is of teak and holly. Doors and drawers are expertly crafted in solid teak. Large amounts of light and ventilation are provided via a large foredeck Bomar hatch and six polished stainless Hood portholes. Starting forward, the chain locker is followed by a v-berth with filler, storage below and shelves above. Next, aft to starboard, is a hanging locker with a bookshelf above. To port, the galley features a Seaward two-burner propane stove and remote gas controller, Norcold 12v/110v refrigerator and stainless steel sink. Numerous lockers, drawers and shelves provide sufficient storage for extended getaways. To starboard, the fully enclosed head features a Vacuflush marine toilet. Steps lead up to the helm area with a steering station to starboard. The companionway doors, hatch and instrument panel are of varnished teak. Windows in the salon are large and the aft bulkhead can be opened to allow for great ventilation. Access to the machinery space is via a large deck hatch in this area. The uncluttered cockpit offers unusual versatility and space. Deck hatches provide access to the large lazarette and steering compartment. The custom helm seat slides for ease of “getting the right position”. The forward cabin and salon area are air conditioned (Marine Air 18k BTU) with a reverse cycle dockside system and there is a bus heater installed to lengthen the cruising season. There is an additional cabinet at the forward end of the ‘L’ shaped settee. The custom teak table in the pilot house can be opened for covered meals or can be moved to the cockpit for enjoying the warm sunshine. The custom teak bench (with custom cover) in the cockpit is a great place to relax while underway and taking in the sights or enjoying your favorite cocktail after settling in to a new or favorite harbor.
