Fiberglass Specifications:

This semi-displacement hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass of alternate layers of matt and woven roving. Thickness of the hull will vary from 3/8″ to 3/4″ at high rudder port bearings, which require extra thickness. The superstructure is made up of hand-laid fiberglass and utilizes an end grain balsa core for structural rigidity and weight reduction.

Hull Speeds:

Cruising speeds for approximately 14,000 lbs. displacement (“Cruiser” and “Weekender” models) and approximately 400 HP (engine size and make are owner’s choice), are 17-19 knots. Top speeds are around 19-23 knots. The lighter, “Downeaster” model, at approximately 11,500 lbs. would most likely average a 20 knot cruise, topping out at 24 knots.
